DIY Monogram – Addiction!

Yes. I think I can say this: I am officially addicted to creating monograms. :p

I made a new monogram last night. I learned how to do the linking and overlapping of letters as I see from other monograms on the internet. And I feel so proud having done it! πŸ˜€ I never knew it was that easy! I found this websiteΒ online on how to do the overlapped or linked text in photoshop. The tutorial is very simple. Although the author used Adobe Photoshop CS2 (I use CS5), the icons and commands are basically the same. πŸ™‚ So, let me share with you my latest creation. πŸ™‚

Currently, this would be my favorite of all the monograms I’ve created. I like how the letters seem to pop up like a 3D figure, unlike my previous creations, the letters were just flat. Now I know why: effects need to be applied. πŸ™‚

Unfortunately, no matter how much I currently love this monogram, when I showed it to Lav, he didn’t quite like it. πŸ™ I feel so sad and frustrated right now.

But still, I feel so happy that I finally know how to do the linked text effect. I want to do some more, but not right now. When I gain my enthusiasm back.. Tomorrow, maybe? :p Hohoho.. No, maybe on the weekend. πŸ˜‰
