Lace Fabric Flowers

DSC_0454

I have been experimenting with different fabric flower ideas. I was able to buy lace last time we we’re in the market for only Qr.7 a roll and it is enough to make more flowers. What I did was really simple, I just did a running stitch at the edge of the lace and pulled on the thread to make it ruffled. After making it long enough, I made a knot at the end to lock the ruffles. Then I rolled it up while applying a dot of glue to keep it in place.

Voila! My lace fabric flower! I’m trying to see if this would blend well with my felt flowers coz it’s too flat white? But still it looks really pretty, if I don’t use it in the bouquet, I’ll probably use it somewhere else.
