During the day, I was trying to recall all the books I’ve read my entire life and figuring out which one I can call a favorite. First thing that came to mind is the book I’m currently reading. Right now, I’m very much into Mr. Christian Grey. During our wedding preps, I was able to squeeze reading book 1 in my very hectic schedule and was able to finish it. Laviel told me not to read book 2 as so I can finally get my DIYs done. Since I was an obedient fiancée, I obliged. Now that I have a handful of free time and practically bored to the core, I have continued with book 2. Can’t really say that the 50 Shades trilogy is a favorite, but I am fond of the story and the characters’ personality.
Next book that came to mind is Dan Brown’s Angels and Demons. This one I can surely declare a favorite. I just love how thrilling the story is and how each discovery lead to another clue for the puzzle to be solved. This is one book I couldn’t put down.
Next and last book I can think of is Paulo Coelho’s The Witch of Portobello. I just love this book. Partly I can relate with the character’s story specially the part about love and the searching of one’s true self. And because I love mystical stories, this is the first book I read of Paulo Coelho’s.
By the way, I tried reading one of Freud’s books. I’m finding it hard to interpret the book but I’ll probably try again one of these days. Even if it means draining my brain dry. And I most definitely recommend reading Why Men Don’t Listen and Women Can’t Read Maps. This book has helped me understand men (particularly my man) and why he acts the way he do.
P.S. I am so not in the mood for anything today, so forgive me if I can’t elaborate more on these books.
