Day 4: A Favorite Television Program

A favorite television program.. This would probably an easy topic for me to share. When I read this morning what today’s subject is, I immediately know what my favorite is. You may not know this, but I am an only child. And being an only child, I grew up having friends to play with me and spend time with me. It is either I go over their place to play or they come over to our house. When I was young, I did not have many friends except for a my classmates in 1st grade and my childhood friends from our neighborhood. When I moved to Doha, I lost contact with my friends from my previous school but gained a new group in my new school. These are the people who I consider a part of my family. Imagine being classmates from 2nd grade till we finished high school! Of course during those years, people went and came. So from a class of less than 10 students, we became something about 35. I maintained my relationship with my girl friends and a few guy friends despite the fight we’ve had in the past. I can say we’ve been through crazy petty fights, but still made up and our bond became stronger.

When I went into college, I gained new set of friends to add to my list. Of course, we’ve been through issues and all, but we still remain friends and I believe all those trials happened to make our bond stronger. They are my brothers and sisters from another parents.

I can say I have a lot of friends and I am truly blessed. 🙂 Hence, this can probably explain why my favorite television show is F.R.I.E.N.D.S. 🙂

I just loooove this series. I has been over a long time but I never get tired to watch its reruns and I even bought DVDs of the entire series. I love how despite their different personalities, despite all their fights, misunderstandings, and even failed love affairs with each other, they still stick together. I love how wacky they are too! 🙂 They stay together through thick and thin, help each other through tough times, and laugh at each others stupidness.

I know I am a cast in my own TV show, and I am very happy to know that I have a Phoebe, a Monica, a Ross, a Joey, a Rachel, and a Chandler in my life.

Kidding aside, I thought your favorite TV series was Charmed? I remember you asking Ate Ana to record all the episodes you’re going to miss, so you’d watch them when you come home from school. Hahaha! 😉
